To help answer some of the common questions we have been asked we have put together an FAQ’s section. If you wish to ask us any other questions please contact us.

Q: Can I just come for a short break? A: Yes, you can come for as many days as you like. Please see our Pricing pages for specific restrictions but we will try to accommodate your requirements.
Q: Do you provide airport transfers? A: We work with local operators to offer transfers from Geneva airport, please ask at time of booking.
Q: What is the most convenient airport to fly to for Saint Gervais? A: Geneva is closest and very well serviced from the UK. Other possible airports are Lyon and Chambery. These are a little further away but clients have used them successfully.
Q: Is it possible to drive to Saint Gervais from the UK? A: Yes, the typical journey time is 8-9 hours from Calais using the toll autoroutes. The autoroutes are superb but remember to add in the cost of the tolls.
Q: How far is Le Regina from the ski lift? A: We are 700m from the ski lift. You can either walk to the lift (10 mins) or the free resort ski bus stops 20 metres away from the hotel. You can also hop on a free resort ski bus to Les Contamines for further ski adventures.
Q: What level of ski / boarding ability is Saint Gervais Mont Blanc best suited to? A: Saint Gervais is suitable for all levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced. With over 445km of pistes plus Vallée Blanche, ski touring and a collection of beautiful alpine villages dotted across the hillside, it makes for a superb winter sports location.
Q: If I want to do the Vallée Blanche, will I need a guide? A: It is recommended that you have a qualified guide for all off-piste skiing. We can suggest local guides in advance of your trip.
Q: How much is the ski pass? A: A “6 Day Evasion Mont Blanc” ski pass can be found at   This is the recommended pass for skiers/boarders spending a week at the resort and gives access to over 445km of piste.
Q: Can you arrange for my ski pass in advance? A: We don’t buy lift passes in advance for our guests as you can easily get them from the ski lift station or Tourist office on arrival (no photo required). You can also purchase Saint Gervais Ski Lifts passes in advance of your trip from
Q: How much is ski/board hire and can you arrange it for me? A: Typical cost for a week’s hire of skis and boots is 120€ (£100). We work with an excellent hire shop Unlimited Sports only 30m from the Le Regina to whom we recommend our guests.  All the equipment is of an extremely high quality and current technology, and the service second to none.
Q: Is there anything to do for non-skiers in Saint Gervais? A: Yes, lots! Saint Gervais has a health and beauty spa, mountain railway, ice rink, heated indoor swimming pool, casino, shopping, bars and restaurants. You can also try your hand at snowshoeing with Alpine Footprints, sleigh rides or sightseeing. In the summer there are nearby lakes, walking and trekking plus a children’s tree top adventure park. The Tramway du Mont Blanc leaves from Saint Gervais to the Col de Voza and Bionnassay Glacier providing an excellent way to access the higher slopes of Mont Blanc.
Q: Can you help us book activities in advance? A: Yes we can, we have many partners in the mountains that can provide guided walks/hikes/snow-shoeing/skiing etc, and we are happy to help.
Q: How far are you from the town centre? A: We are in the town centre with all it has to offer including many traditional savoyard restaurants and bars.
Q: Do you have any parking? A: There is a large short term free public car park directly opposite Le Regina. There is a secure undercover free car park in the town centre and free on street parking on nearby roads.
Q: Can I reserve the whole of Le Regina for a large party? A: Yes, you can reserve the whole of Le Regina for the exclusive use of your party for families or corporate stays, please contact us.
Q: Some of my party have special dietary requirements, will they be catered for? A: Yes, please advise us of any specific dietary requirements at the time of booking. We can confirm our ability to cater for them at that time.
Q: What star rating and comfort level is Le Regina? A: Le Regina is non-classified in the French system but please look at Tripadvisor for our guest reviews. We have updated the interior with all rooms having ensuite bathrooms (shower or bath), UK Satellite TV in the lounge and French TV with a DVD option in the bedrooms. We aim for a higher standard of comfort and service.
